The BCCWA team will function primarily through the network of entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, industry leaders, representatives from the Government of Western Australia, representatives from the Government of Australia, representatives from the Government of Bhutan, and its registered members. Registration is simple and a minimal charge is payable to join. Physical and digital card is available upon registration along with other benefits and services.
The Team will be structured through a simple homogenous set up led by its 3 key resource officers, and a Networking Member Group (NMG). There will be no limit to number of members who can sign up with BCCWA. All existing Bhutanese business owners in WA, interested business owners in Bhutan, business owners in WA, entrepreneurs, and industry participants are welcome to join.
The 3 key officers in the team will be referred to as 3D – Director in Investment; Director in Strategy; and Director in Communications and Networking. This is known as the 3-D Department. These Directors will assume the day to day functions of the Group with each Director bringing about pro-active suggestions, solutions, ideas and execution of the Group’s way of doing business. A permanent Office Secretary will support 3-D’s in their day to day functions. This is a paid role.
The Board of Networking Member Group (NMG) is formed through the network of entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, industry leaders, representatives from the Government of Western Australia, representatives from the Government of Australia, representatives from the Government of Bhutan, and its registered team members. Their existence is alike Board of Directors and will generally have the roles and responsibilities that a usual Board would assume. A total of 7 members will form the NMG comprised of members from Bhutanese Business Community in WA and experts from industry leaders. Government representatives from Bhutan and Western Australia, Business leaders and entrepreneurs in Bhutan will be called upon as resource advisory personnel, as and when required.
These 7 members will directly liaise with the 3 Directors of BCCWA, provide suggestions, advice where required, and provide general support to 3-D. NMG is not required to meet on a daily basis but should meet at least once every 2 months or as deemed necessary. This is a paid role.
Representation of BCCWA is enormously important when it comes to its exposure, marketing and networking. As a group of business entity, it’s paramount that trust and confidence is placed on BCCWA when investments and developments are made. To do this, and help bridge the gap between different industry resources, Brand ambassadors who will be honoured for a period of 48 months shall become part of BCCWA.
